Through self awareness, we take the first step to healing.

As a Transitional Specialist with Unity Worldwide Ministries, I work as the mediator with the community identifying word and ideas that are unvoiced into a vision by putting thoughts into words.

My role in facilitation is to create a safe space for others to share their experiences and concerns.

We are our past, we are the present, and we are our future.

There are many strategies to achieve this goal, many of which are fun and others which call for reflection and contemplation. When an intention is set, the results are met from the intention. It is important to communicate the power in setting intentions that support the desired outcome.

My personal intention is to grow, share, support, and encourage others in the process of personal wholeness.

I was inspired to become a Transitional Specialist Consultant after ordination when I was made aware that there were services available at Unity Worldwide Ministries to support ministries in transition.

The diversity of us is the completion of us.

Heritage Quilt Workshop of Affirmations

The Heritage Quilt workshop is designed to look at the history of a church in a two-day workshop bringing awareness to the power that our past binds us to the present. We are our past, present, and future.

As we share stories of the church's early beginnings to the present day, we begin to see how we are interdependently connected. We work together in groups to assist one another in creating dreams for the future. From the information gathered and the intimacy of the “wants and needs” at the end of the workshop, we will write affirmations that empower us on our journey to living abundantly as individuals and as a community.

Examples of affirmations formulated after a two-day workshop based on information shared by the participants of a congregation:

Let it be that I live in Peace.

Let it be that I live by my individualistic passion that is guided by God and expressed as me.

Let it be that I am blessed it is the God of my understanding who guides me.

Let it be that I share my treasures with others.

Let it be that I live and am guided by the Christ within.

Let it be that I hold the responsibility of my stewardship

Let it be that I hold compassion and forgiveness for others that I hold for myself.

Let it be that I live with the fullness of life and feel Alive in all that I do.

Let it be that the community heal through friendship and the adventure continues by Divine Order and Gentle Understanding

DreamBuilders’ Imagination Workshop

DreamBuilders is a creative personal empowerment program delivered in a supportive group setting. Workshops guide young people to identify their dreams and realize what dreams are possible. This is accomplished through team-building activities and real-world challenges involving problem solving and personal insights. The program seeks to cross socio-economic boundaries in an effort to build unity between teens and their communities. Camps are more than just fun, food and field trips.
